A Conversation With the Land

'A Conversation With the Land' is a meditative sound and moving-image work of art. It documents the most memorable experience and feelings that Yao had throughout a field trip to Fowler's Gap Arid Zone Research Station Located 112 kilometres north of Broken Hill. This immersive way of visual expression is derived from the silence of natural environment of the Land.

The work is a personal conversation between Yao and the land of Fowlers Gap, presented through sound and through the lens of the camera.
